But like other Xenoblade titles, it feels the hardware holds it back.
There is an element of forgiveness and understanding with games of this scale and scope on the Nintendo Switch.
Its a fantastic game, and I remember saying as such at the time when I did my review.
But this shouldnt be the case.
Monolith Soft shouldnt have to contend with lackluster hardware to craft sprawling open world epics.
Nintendo could evolve in ways that benefit these games instead of holding them back.
Or, slightly less optimistically, at least raise the ceiling somewhat.
However, that perspective is mostly blurry mush.
