This extends not just to the people inhabiting the world, but those you directly interact with.
Battle Traits and Augments are essential to survival in Xenoblade Chronicles X.
Here’s everything you better know about them.
And that means there is plenty of opportunity for some iconic quotes.
No matter what though, there are plenty of great lines you’ll be subjected to.
8"Tatsu Is Not Food!"
-Tatsu
What is a Xenoblade game if it doesn’thave a Nopon companion?
Every attempt fails with the aforementioned cry from Tatsu, but he somehow also never learns.
A boiling broth is no different from a regular bath, it seems.
7"That’s Enough, You Samaarian Witch!
Enough Of The Pain You’ve Caused The Universe!"
-Elma
A big part of what makes Xenoblade Chronicles X so unique is the mystery.
What does she mean when she calls Goetia a Samaarian Witch?
And why does Elma seem to know more about the Ganglion than she lets on.
It’s a fascinating hint at her own secrets, and just where her limit is.
A man of few words, but all of them deeply meaningful.
In fact, it even has three whole companions whose sle personality trait is that they really love Skells.
And Skells are pretty cool, to be fair.
These games feature some expansive worlds and in-depth lore.
Much of this can be seen in heart-to-hearts, including one of Elma’s earliest.
3Anything Pizza-Related
The Ma-non
After Chapter Five, you will be introduced to the Ma-non.
Diminutive in stature, advanced in technological advancement, and absolutely obsessed with pizza.
And pizza played no small part in that.
Xenoblade Chronicles X has lots of little details you might have missed.
Here are some of the most significant.
Really, there’s no single quote that could sum up the Ma-non’s love for Pizza.
It is the most impressive advancement of humanity, something the Ma-non can no longer live without.
Some even claim they would die without it.
It is no small statement to say NLA’s economy is uphled by the Ma-non’s pizza-purchasing habits.
2"Will I Ever Stop Excelling?"
What does the H.B.
Literally, Hector Birtwhistle, but in reality you want it to be.
is whatever you want, and exactly what NLA needs.
And have no fear, he knows that, too.
has a rather unique habit to express how amazing he is.
“Will I ever stop excelling?”
he asks aloud any time he gains a level.
And the answer, of course, is no.
will never stop excelling.
That’s a fair assertion, though misses on an even more crucial character - the planet, Mira.
Which is why Elma’s quote is so prescient throughout the game.
There is something up with this planet.
Why is everyone drawn to Mira, and why can no one escape?
And maybe it’s a mystery we’ll never have solved, either.
The first quest in May’s questline is Mayday.
