Good deeds inThe Witcher 3are rarely repaid quickly, if at all.

In many instances, you have to trust that you have done good and move on.

Fortunately, this pattern is occasionally broken in a handful of quests.

Geralt gives a smirk as he talks to a merchant in Novigrad.

You will see amerchant cornered by a pair of bandits inside.

Engaging with the group will see Geraltconfront the bandits, providing you withthree optionsfor resolving the situation.

Fight The Group

Geralt will provoke the criminals to the extent that they fight him.

You will need todefeat three sword-wielding enemies.

You will need to haveDelusion at level onefor this to work.

Leave

Geralt willabandon the merchantand leave.

You willnot be able to buy from the merchantas a consequence.

Finding The Merchant

If youhelp the merchant,you will enjoya discountif you buy his wares.

The only problem is that hedoes not say where his shop is.

You will know that it is the merchant when hethanks Geraltfor helping him.
