There’s just one last thing left to do.

The Duchess is not content to simply pay Geralt for his service.

Geralt talks to Regis as he’s dressed in expensive clothes by a tailor in Toussaint.

This means that he needs to get dressed for the occasion.

With the owner’s help, Geralt getsthe final letterfrom one of them.

For the best outcome, you will have tovisit Syanna in her roomfor a final conversation to avert disaster.

Talking To Syanna

This time, the former princess is easy to find.

The ending itself rides on this conversation, with your choices heredetermining which outcome you get.

Ideally, you want to tell Syanna the following:

You find the duchess in the middle of court, dealing with the aftermath of Dettlaff’s rampage.

After placating a worried merchant, she turns her attention to Geralt.

Thanking him for his hard work, she presents Geralt witha medaland, more importantly,5,000 crownsfor slaying the Beast.

Syanna takes an annoyed breath as Geralt talks to her in her room in the palace.

This is thefinal ending-determining conversation choice.

The sisters face each other.

If all has gone well, the sisters willargue, but reconcilein the story’s best possible ending.

Geralt arrives at a pavilion surrounded by the duchess' court in Toussaint.

Geralt will go to the cemetery to meet Regis to celebrate.

Several days later, Geralt visits the duchess' mausoleum to pay his final respects.

This isa short and somber momentthat has Geralt reflecting on his inability to protect either sister.

Finally, Geralt enters the crypt where he can eitherlay the flowers at the duchess' tombor onboth tombs.

Considering that the sisters are dead,your dialogue choices won’t matter.

Regis will collect Geralt once he’s ready, taking him to the cemetery.

Geralt stands next to a tomb in Toussaint, covered in flowers left by mourners.

Halfway through, he suggestspicking mandrake rootsfor another brew.

Geralt agrees, joining him on a short walk through the grounds.

Use Geralt’s Witcher Senses tofind the plants in the dirt.You’ll only need tofind two.

Geralt gives a serious look as he sits by a campfire in Toussaint while talking to Regis.

Regis will go missing during your search, prompting Geralt to look for him.

Once again,Geralt’s Witcher Senses will prove useful,highlighting his footsteps and bringing you to him.

He’s locked in a battle against bruxae.

With his help, the lesser vampires fall quickly.

These vampires aresignificantly weaker than the others you have fought.They’ll be defeated without much effort.

He explains that killing Dettlaff comes with consequences.
