The Wild Hunt are the main antagonists ofThe Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The following list details a few things that didn’t make much sense to us about the Wild Hunt.
However, that doesn’t end up being the case.
Instead, Eredin is somewhat easy once you learn his pattern of attacks.
you’ve got the option to essentially beat him by dodging and using theQuen signoften.
Caranthir and Imlerith, who you fight before him, put up comparably harder fights.
9Did Eredin Actually Need Ciri?
However, the elves have the ability to travel between portals, similar to Ciri.
In the end, it would probably have taken the same amount of time.
The majority of his goals are dictated by other characters in the game.
However, we learn from exposition and several characters that they’re terrifying.
Yet, for some reason, the Crones fear the Wild Hunt.
We don’t know.
They made their home and constructed their palace and capital, known as Tir na Lia.
Unicorns also lived on the world and the Aen Elle and them constantly fought.
For a time, they forced unicorns to open portals for them until the unicorns managed to fight back.
Thus, the Wild Hunt was somewhat limited by their navigators' abilities to use portals.
But the question is, what was their real purpose?
To amass a giant amount of slaves?
When do they get to stop and relax and enjoy their work?
Why do they constantly need more?
The ship was rumored to be constructed by demons out of the fingernails and toenails of the deceased.
Surely there are better materials to construct a massive, ghostly, ship than using toenails.
How many toenails would it take to build a ship?
How long does it take to find that many fingernails?
Wouldn’t it be easier to use rotting wood or something equally creepy but as gross?
Except, it seems like Eredin jumped the gun by doing this.
It’s a somewhat confusing moment – what did Caranthir hope to gain by doing this?
It’s never explained.
