Is it all a not so subtle metaphor for their waning relationship?
Or is there just an all lute version of Sisters of Mercy perpetually on tour in Oxenfurt?

Why the differing descriptions here?

In her afterlife, Iris von Everec is both.
As a wraith she possesses the as of yet unseen ability to hop between paintings.
What makes Iris so special that she is such a rare instance of both wraith and ghost?
