Fans love it so much that they’ve made the DLC the subject of manymemes.
And instead of poking fun, most of them praise the expansion in a funny way.

Geralt has a surprising number of close friends for an aloof Witcher.
And one more makes his video game debut inBlood and Wine.
His name is Emiel Regis Rohellec Terzieff-Godefroy, thankfully though he simply goes byRegis.
Unlike pretty much everyone else in the expansion, Regis sticks by Geralt no matter what decisions he makes.
That’s despite the fact that the Witcher is hunting down one of his vampire brethren.
Early in the expansion, Regis and Geralt manage to convince him to let them deal with his blackmailer.
However, this all takes a turn once Dettlaff finds out that his antagonist is actuallySyanna.
Shortly after, he leads a full-scale vampire invasion on Beauclair to get his hands on her.
At that point, nobody gets much chance to ask him for anything, never mind a permit.
8Regis’s Secret
“Is anyone else here a vampire?”
Unbeknownst to the Duchess, she says this line while looking directly at a vampire.
BothGeraltand the players know, though, which means the line creates a lot of awkwardness.
Some players react to it as Geralt does in this meme, whereas others more resemble Regis.
Yet, it’s original price is virtually identical to some ofFallout 76’sadditional armor skins.
It’s up to Geralt whether he tries to take down the vampire or not.
But if he does, then Dettlaff’s own friend, Regis, assists the Witcher in killing him.
Syanna really ruined his entire life.

Dettlaff is a very complicated character.
In truth, he is a little bit of both.

The amount of content in theBlood and Wineis incredible.
Of course, all of the other content the expansion delivers is good too.
3Interesting Tactic
Even for a Witcher, facing and defeating ahigher vampireis an arduous task.
However, he and Regis don’t do a great job of coordinating their attacks during the battle.
He recovers to deal the final blow, though.
During it, a painter creates a beautiful piece of art depicting Geralt in a pose of his choice.
He takes some creative liberties and decides to have the Witcher naked in the painting.
The “best ending” is subjective, after all.
