And only then will they help the Witcher find his adoptive daughter who could be in mortal danger.
Is everyone in theWitcheruniverse a horrible person?
That still doesn’t stop dedicated players from spending hours going around and finding every single one of them.
In the context of the story, though, it makes no sense.
Geralt wouldn’t waste time on pointless tasks when he knows that Ciri is in danger.

To get away from the Wild Hunt, Ciri traveled through several different worlds.
One of which she describes as a futuristic place where people use long-range weaponry, which sounds like guns.
For some reason, at no point did she have the idea of bringing those advanced weapons with her.
