Needless to say, it improved an already outstanding game.
Among these, 10 stand out best; the DLCs would have been nothing without them.
UpuntilBlood and Wine, she was never really officially adapted into a visual character.
Anna Henrietta was adamant, stubborn, intelligent, and sweet at the same time.
She wanted nothing more than to live a happy and content life with her husband, Olgierd.
His appearance was only short but how it affected the game and the story was phenomenal.
Vlodomir is a certain life of the party and turned Geralt from a dull cloud to a rainbow.
That’s why her appearance inHearts of Stonewas a pleasing fan service and a nod to her character.
After all, she was one of Geralt’s most “normal” romance options in the games.
As a result, there’s really nothing to dislike about her.
LikeHearts of Stone’s Iris, Detlaff’s sorrow only befell him due to his love for someone.
The difference is that Detlaff was betrayed and used.
While his sense of justice was certainly not wrong, it was rather misdirected.
Hence, Syanna was cast out and left to die by knights.
She then grew up as a bandit and swore revenge on the very knights who abused her.
Still, Syanna’s flaw as a human makes her one of the more compelling characters inBlood and Wine.
Regis, despite hissuperior intelligenceand objectively better species, remained humble and compassionate.
That’s a rare quality for a bloodsucking predator.
3GERALT OF RIVIA
Let’s not forget the most important character of all, Geralt of Rivia.
He’s one of the best blank slates astory-driven RPGcan have.
However, he works best when he confronts morally grey areas andmakes decisions accordingly.
Not many RPG characters can handle those as well as Geralt does.
This is a character who deserves his own game.
In fact, Olgierd nearly got away with tricking a devil.
That proves he can be more cunning and smarter than a witcher.
Olgierd can even be a better antihero than Geralt due to his regretful and sinful past.
That’s why the fight between them was rather satisfying in the game.
When it comes to being a villain, Gaunter is also the most interesting out of allThe Witcher 3monsters.
He apparently controls time and runs around ruining people’s lives or claiming their souls for entertainment.
Much like Olgierd, G.O.D.
