How To Make A Baby

To make a baby, you needa male and female Simto interact.

Simply select one of these objects with a romantic partner on the lot andselect the Try for Baby option.

Your Sims will get busy and do their thing.

If the female Sim was successfully impregnated,a lullaby will playto signal the upcoming birth.

Standard WooHoo interactions come with avery low risk of a baby, so be careful!

Male Sims can be impregnated by aliens if abducted.

Triple-A Games

When pregnant, a Sim willwear maternity clothesas their baby bump grows over the next few days.

After the third day, your Sim willcall the household to attentionas they deliver their new child.

You’ll get tochoose a name for the babybefore officially welcoming them to the family.

The Sims 2

If a pregnant Sim dies or becomes an elder, the baby will be lost.

Pregnant Sims willget three days offbefore and after delivering a baby as maternity/paternity leave.

Use this time tobond with the babyand rest!

SimCity will send a social worker if these youngSims are in mortal danger, like when starving or drowning.

Children seized from households will beadded to the adoption pool.

You’ll speak with a social worker that will evaluate your candidacy as a potential parent.

Parents who’ve had children removed from the household are unable to adopt new children.

When deemed fit, a social worker will arrive in a van.
