Time Eater is the final boss inSonics half ofSonic X Shadow Generations.
We need these characters in the Sonic The Hedgehog X DC crossover.
Once youve defeated Egg Dragoon, you unlock the final area on the right side of the map.
This meansyou need all seven of the Chaos Emeraldsto access Time Eater.
Nope, these werent optional after all.
once you nail all of the Chaos Emeralds, simply take them back to the final area.
By jumping near the centre of each cog, each emerald will automatically be slotted in place.
Or, well, Eggmans, since there are two of them.
This means there are two of you in the final boss, asyou control both modern and classic Sonic.
you’re gonna wanna land four attacks to win.
Both Sonics will be in Super Sonic form.
This means that youll continuously lose rings the longer the fight goes on.
This means that the boss is largely boost to win.
Just keep holding down the boost, and youll get there eventually.
Do this, and the fight is over.
As youd expect, switching to classic Sonic turns the level 2D.
You cannot attack Time Eater as Classic Sonic, only dodge attacks and keep up the pursuit.
However, this is a good opportunity to stock up on rings.
Heres everything that Time Eater will throw your way during the fight.
Attack
Description
Homing Shot
A series of homing missles, and Time Eaters most common attack.
To avoid these, just dont stay in one place too long.
Warping Arm Attack
One of Time Eaters arms is launched through a portal.
To avoid it, just boost out of the way as soon as you see it coming towards you.
Laser
A laser beam.
Boost out of the way before it can target you.
Switching between 3D and 2D can also help with this.
Slow Down Time
Not much of an attack, but incredibly annoying.
Towards the end of the fight, Time Eater will start slowing down time.
You just have to wait it out, and then you’re able to start boosting again.
Surely this will make people behave.
