TheSwitch 2announcement cycle sure has been fun folks, hasnt it?
Then we gotanother trailer that looked really cooland we were all like, Nice!
and then we saw the price and we were all like, Oh, look at the time!
On one hand, Im a massive Nintendo fan who falls for everything like a complete mark.
And with a decision that big, Ive got a few questions I need to ask myself.
Am I A Complete Sucker Doing This Again?
Probably the most important question.
Am I ready to go through this whole process again?
Am I really going to buy another console when I have hundreds of games I still havent finished?
Hell, I still have a good number of Nintendo Switch games just waiting to be played.
Hell, Ive got a good number ofPlayStation Vitagames just waiting to be played.
Not completed!Played!
Vast roleplaying games that could take up hundreds of hours.
Those I probably should have waited a beat on, right?

How Many Tabs Am I Going To Keep Open?
Seriously, how far am I going to go to get this pre-order?
Im now over 40.
I have no family.
I have no children.
The last person with a memory of my existence will be the man who digs my grave.
But Ill have those tabs open anyway.
The question is just how many.
Will there be enough?
Will I find the one legitimate store that actually has a Nintendo Switch?
Probably that latter one, because Im the stupidest man alive.
Ill open tab after tab after tab while losing hope after hope after hope.

How Long Am I Going To Refresh These Tabs?
Better refresh every website ever made to see if the Switch 2 is up for pre-order!
Im certainly not helping crash all these sites; everyone else is the problem.
Better hit that old refresh!
Ill keep clicking like a rat trying to get a small pellet of food from a scientist.
Just clicking and tapping and hitting enter, hoping those little reward cube comes my way.
Am I Really Going To Spend This Much On Launch Games?
This is one of the most challenging parts.
Sure, sure, sure theres aMario Kartbundle.
But am I getting a whole Switch 2 for just one new game?
Idont think thats the way this world works.
Will they even be available?
And, more importantly, am I explicitly part of the problem ruining it for everyone else?
Ill never face the truth!
When I Finally Get One Into The Cart And It Disappears, Will I Break Down?
Many websites are happy to let you add something to a cart.
Because, hoo baby, this is when your cart is about to beempty.
All of that refreshing.
All of that waiting.
And all of that desperately adding games and accessories to a cart only to find theyre gone.
Out of stock itll say, while refreshing earlier pages will say its still in stock.
And because this is a pre-order, none of that will make sense anyway.
Itll all feel bad.
So when it happens to me, the question is, just how far will it break me.
Will I lose my mind?
Will I give up?
When An Order Finally Makes It Through, Why Will I Feel Nothing?
Should I Get A Switch Camera So I Can See My Cool Friends While Playing Online?
Even I have some self-respect.
