Its time to look ahead to what might win GOTY in 2025.
Im fairly confident that the answer for all three isGTA 6.
That could make it TheGamers Game of the Year too.

I dont know what to tell you.
I just feel it in my bones thatGhost of Yoteiis going to be a smash hit.
I likedTsushimaenough but it seemed like the series had a much higher ceiling, andYotei could reach it.
I dont always feel this way about Sony exclusives.
In fact, Im often deeply wary of Sonys increasingly similar cinematic experiences.
We sawElden Ringdrop into second place in 2022 for largely the same reason.
PS I always likedRed Deadbetter anyway.
Whatever games are in the mix, a GOTY contender is sure to be among them.
Eric Switzer even had the trailer on his things that cant be GOTY but should be list.
Its also much easier to pick up and play than meaty RPGs or complex narrative sagas.
Hopefully everyone decides togive ripping and tearing a try in 2025.

On the plus side, its likely to be much shorter.

With more editors than in 2022, its harder for lesser-known games to come up for air.
