It has lagged behind whatZelda,Mario, andAnimal Crossingput out on the Switch.
This makes Pokemon a benchmark, and right now,Pokemon looks bad.
Does thecolourful, cartoonish styleobscure just how bad the textures and graphics are at times?
Does it get more of a pass because it’s Pokemon?
But it still gives us something to think about for the Switch 2.
That evolution will be less clear on the Switch 2.
It doesn’t feel like an endorsement.
Alternatively, the easy fix is don’t allow Pokemon to look like that.
