AsUmbreons Dad, I was as down for the hunt as anyone.
After opening a variety of Prismatic Evolution product, Im afraid to say it simply isnt worth the hype.
Without the more common Illustration Rares to find, it feels like the packs are overall much lighter.
It gives the feeling that the set has terrible pull rates, and thats kind of true.
Thats a small sample size, but it’s pretty consistent withwhats been reported elsewhere.
A Weaker Pack Opening Experience
For a special expansion, the ratios dont feel quite right.
Again, 27 packs isnt a lot.
Its not like I expected to pull an Umbreon ex from my first ETB.
Until then, Im going to have a go at resist FOMO and pretend Prismatic Evolutions doesnt exist.
As exciting as these cards are, its just not worth the cost right now.
