It has also been confirmed thatthe Switch 2 will have backwards compatibility.
That means any of the games shown during a potential February Direct will be playable on the Switch 2.
Don’t expect a better look atthe new Mario Kart game that was shown offon Thursday, though.
That was almost certainly a Switch 2 exclusive that will likely launch with the console.
