What Are Mantles?
Mantles are what the game classes as ‘Specialist Tools’.
A very specific phrase since basically nothing else is within the category other than Mantles.
Two can be brought with you at a time,the Ghillie Mantle and then another of your choice.
There is a multi-minute cooldown on Mantles, so verify to only use them when absolutely necessary.
All of them are quite distinct from one another, fitting different monsters and playstyles.
Ends when you perform an attack or are hit.
Rocksteady
Increases defense, prevents damage reactions, and grants protection against roars, tremors, and wind pressure.
Evasion
Extends invulnerability period while dodging, and increases attack power temporarily if you dodge at the last second.
The Evasion and Corrupted Mantles require a bit more finesse to pull off.
It is a very Risk vs.
