Words Of Warning
Before we begin in earnest, some explanations are probably in order.
First,Tyrant’s Star is not an especially large dungeon, but it can be a tough one.
There areonly two major areas, and neither are particularly difficult to navigate, butpowerful enemies roam everywhere.
Compounding matters,Magla Flowers are abundant, especially in the second area.
Arrival And Exploration
TheKokamordosenemies near the entrance here can bedifficult to evade.
To reach thefirst sub-boss here, locate thelift situated at roughly the northwest part of the map.
Sub-Boss: Diabolus Gorleo
Diabolus Gorleo
Weak toWind.
UsesSpin SlashandNotchblade Spinfor party-wide Slash damage.
When it usesLimitless Bond, it restores a great deal of its HP.
UseWind Bladeif you’ve got it to rip through Diabolus Gorleo’s body parts.
In other words,you might use them against all Tyrant’s Star sub-bosses to great effect.
Considerinvesting heavily in Balms of Life and Magla Potionsfor the final boss later.
This willexpose the heart, which needs to be destroyedto win the battle.
This will break Homo Avades' heart all the faster.
Sub-Boss: Diabolus Butera
Diabolus Butera’s most frustrating feature is its reliance onSandstorm.
To counter this, we wantMasakukajaand/orReset Talismansat the ready at all times.
It’s just not worth the risk of abbreviating our turns.
It usesparty-wide physical attackssuch asSwiping Arc, which are all the more likely to hit everybody now.
If Diabolus Butera usesGround Burrow, it will beimpossible to attack for one turn.
Use this opportunity toheal up, buff your team, and so forth.
On its following turn, Diabolus Butera will attack withSudden Rise, its most powerful party-wide move.
Once you’re there,use this lift to the second area of Tyrant’s Star.

The dog-jot down beasties gathered near the entrance are easy to pick off in overworld combat.

These would be good grinding spots, but we still recommend you use theMagla Flowersto boost up your stats.
The path here in thelower half of the Melancholia Depthspusheswestward, andforks northwest and southwesteventually.
This will reduce the mounting concern from itssingle-target Torrential Breath, which dealssubstantial physical Water damage.
Not that getting lost here is easy, but just so we’re all on the same track.
Diabolus Jaluzo usesStareto inflictDazeon a single target andDeafening Dinto reduce everyone’s Defense.
Maintain a solution toraise your Defense back up at least to its normal statewhenever this transpires.
We’re a broken record at this point, butmaintain the pressure with Royal Swordand its ilk.
Thesoutheast sectioncontains the final sub-boss, whereas thedue-north section, with its red quest marker,leads to Louis.
Hence,we’ll go southeast.
Sub-Boss: Diabolus Margo
If you do this right,Diabolus Margo will be a total cakewalk.
Mind you, Diabolus Margo will castDekajaroutinely toeliminate your buffs.
We actuallywant it to do this.
Frankly, it’sfar less importantnow that you have the Prince Archetype’s Human-slaying attacks.
