Emma Frost from the X-Men universe was added toMarvel Rivalsalongside the release of Season 2.
These abilities are exceptionally powerful and can help knock down mobile heroes and divers and leave them vulnerable.
This makes her an invaluable tank as she canblock any form of projectiles being thrown at herfrom a distance.
She also has Psychic abilities, which allow you to deal damage to enemies.
Faceted Fury
When in Diamond Form,Emma can punch enemiesand deal crushing damage.
If this ability is allowed to linger longer, then enemies will start moving towards Emma with no counterplay.
Diamond Form
Activating this abilitycloaks the hero in a powerful exoskeletonthat providesdamage reduction and makes her unstoppable.
She also gains special abilities while in this form.
Mind’s Aegis
This is astandard shield that she can deployon the battlefield.
it’s possible for you to see the charge in the middle of the screen.
Once it charges to 100, it deals a lot of damage.
However, you should use Diamond Form more often when playing in a team fight.
When playing as Emma Frost,you don’t want to rush into enemies.
While your Diamond Form is strong,you lack mobilityand will get killed if you jump behind enemy lines.
You shoulduse your Diamond Form when enemy DPS or tanks are rushing onto your healersor backline DPS.
This will allow your squishy allies to run to safety and help you shut them down.
Both these abilities are perfect to shut down agile flankers.
Once placed, you cantake back the shieldorrepositionit in a different location.
Theprimary purpose of the Shield is to block projectiles, especially when fighting in choke points.
You canuse it to open up objectives that are difficult to enterdue to enemies firing from a distance.
You canalso use it to cover a flank, especially when your team is being threatened by divers.
However,if it gets destroyed, your Shield goes into a 4-second cooldown.
Apart from Emma’s tanking abilities,she can also deal good damage through her Psychic Spear ability.
One of the best ways to use this ability is totake down fleeing DPS and healers.
At this instant, Psylocke will make a run at run away and heal.
If she is at low HP, she will end up dead, creating an advantage for your team.
As mentioned previously, Emma’s Telepathic Pulse charges when you shoot at the enemy.
At 100 charge, even if enemies dive into you, consider using your Telepathic Pulse.
