Killing a Scion would be a great way to do that.
2034 can’t come soon enough.
Its been a while sinceFinal Fantasy 14has killed off a proper Scion.
Weve had scares in the past.
It also doesnt help that it feels like many of them are now lingering with no real purpose.
Their arcs are complete, and so their continued presence in the story is starting to feel pointless.
However, that doesnt mean that the old-timers cant still play a part in the story.
Which Scion Needs To Die?
If Square Enix wanted to be really brave, Id suggest Alphinaud or Alisaie.
On the one hand, Im not heartless enough to wish death upon two sixteen-year-olds.
Thancred is undoubtedly the more loved out of the two though, which makes sense given their past actions.
But it does so with good reason.
