Im a sucker forFinal Fantasy 14events.
As a lover of tat in both the real and digital world, the bar is low for me.
Yet somehow, despite being two events in one, it offers nothing substantial in terms of content.
FFXIV’s quest names just wouldn’t hit the same way if they were direct translations.
I think its the worst seasonal event to date, for multiple reasons.
Were not getting more, were getting less.
Hatching-tide is Eorzeas equivalent of Easter and generally takes place in April.
Its not like we havent had two seasonal events in quick succession before.
Theres nothing groundbreaking or particularly endearing about it.
As I said from the start, I love tat.
I want those freebie items.
With two events combined youd think there would be at least a couple of decent rewards, right?
Its just the one.
You get the Peatie mount for completing the quests and thats it.
It just has pink flowers instead of white flowers on its head now.
Dont get me wrong.
While you’re all enjoying Rebirth, I’ll be heading back to FFXIV for Moogle tomestone hunting.
