Badtz-maru is the resident jokester in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
Here, you’ve got the option to learn how to meet and befriend him.
One of the first areas you’ll find is the Spooky Swamp where Kuromi makes her home.
The spooky vibe is prominent, but there are also some aspects that are lacking.
Help Kuromi revitalize the swamp by bringing power back for the different attractions!
To unlock this quest, you need toreach friendship level four with Kuromi!
We recommend gifting Jack-O-Lanterns to speed up the process.
Once you do, Kuromi willlead you to the Haunted Mansionand gift you a green power crystal.
Take iteast of the mansionand plug it into the hollowed out tree beyond the fence.
This powers up the Haunted Mansion and allows you to finally enter inside.
There are ten rooms here, each with a different puzzle within.
You must complete each puzzle to unlock the door at the top of the mansion.
Below are the puzzle solutions for each room!
Haunted House Room 2 Puzzle
In the second room, there aretrap doors all along the floor.
Carefully navigate around them to reach the other side of the roomin an ‘S’ shape.
Haunted House Room 3 Puzzle
The third room has you walk through the dining room.
Haunted House Room 4 Puzzle
In the fourth room, you’re presented with several doors.
Each of them will lead to another part of the room, but only one will let you escape.
Head to the second floor here, thentake the second door from the leftto solve the puzzle.
Haunted House Room 5 Puzzle
In the next room, there are two puzzles to solve.
Each lever will lower a bookcase blocking your path.
Memorize this path and carefully cross the floor to reach the door on the other side.
Start at the far rightof the room, thenmove up two squares.
you’re able to hop to safety from here.
Haunted House Room 9 Puzzle
The second to last puzzle has youalternate levers to reach the exit.
Use the lever on the left to cross the hall, then use the lever in the far right.
Backtrack and use the bottom right lever, then the bottom left lever again.
The two bottom levers should be facing each other!
Head back north toreach the door and leave the room.
To restore the ride, you need topower up the lamps to dispel the fog.
You canride the train to find each lamppost, and the levers will be nearby.
Once the ride is restored,head into the secret cavejust below the first lamppost.
Here you’llfind a chest with the spooky witch hatinside and thefinal power crystalon the podium.
Collect both, thenequip your newly-found witch outfit.
Make your waysoutheast of the Haunted Mansionto the Nul wearing a matching witch outfit.
It will let you pass, and you canplace the final power crystal in the hollowed out tree!
