Shock your enemies into regret, one poke at a time.
What Is The Wasp Launcher?
First and foremost, heres a brief rundown on what the W.A.S.P.
But well be calling it the Wasp for short.
It’s a support weapon that has two modes of fire, Artillery and Burst.
Plus, its a chunky launcher so it requires a stationary reload or a teammate helping out.
Its yours at level 20 for 12000 Requisition.
How To Get The Wasp Launcher?
Its incredibly easy to get your hands on the Wasp Launcher.
For those already above 20, just head over to the Patriotic Administration Centre.
Also known as the spot where you buy Stratagems.
As we previously mentioned itll cost you 12k Requisition, so have some points spare to spend.
Once you buy it, just add it to your loadout for your next drop and call it in.
The Wasp comes with a backpack for reloading missiles with seven per pod and five pods in your reserve.
This makes a total of 42 rounds in total that can be fired before the weapons empty.
Here’s how to do that flashy revolver spinning trick in Helldivers 2!
How To Use The Wasp Launcher?
Like all the other weapons in Helldivers 2, the Wasp is fairly simple to pop-off.
By default the Wasp will fire in Burst Mode.
This setting will shoot out up to seven missiles at a time if the fire button is held down.
However, if you just tap it, then the launcher will only release one missile per button press.
In Burst Mode the missiles will fire off in random directions before locking into their target.
This can cause some collision issues withinurban or enclosed areas.
The other setting youll have a lot of fun with is Artillery Mode.
When this mode is selected the Wasp will use an entire salvo of seven missiles at once.
Before it strikes the target the rounds will explode in an Airburst one after the other.
The more missiles used, the bigger the boom.
The missiles themselves deal roughly 200 damage per projectile and 600 for each explosion.
So it’s pretty handy at clearing out crowds that are chasing down your fellow Helldivers.
So the Wasp is can just easily wear them down.
The only major flaw is the rapid ammunition consumption.
On the road again!
