There is aMerchant and Mender NPCavailable at the docks.
Make use of this character, since they will sell you all the bait you will need.
It is wise to stock up onall threeof these.
Depending on thelocationthe boat sails to, one bait will be more powerful than the others.
To see the boats schedule, talk to the NPC namedDryskthota.
For each location, these baits should be used so you can yield thebest catches.
This is when the water turns amystical rainbow color.
Now, all the fish that can be caught have a higher chance of beingrare.
During spectral currents, you might switch to certainbaitsin order to yield better game.
Once a current is active, switch to thespecial baitlisted above.
The bait that triggers a spectral currentis the same oneyou should use during a spectral event.
The little shark minion known asMajor-General Minioncan be unlocked by getting5,000 pointsin one trip.
Points are attained by catching fish, which is whyspectral currentsare important for a larger point yield.
The first mount is calledHybodusand can be unlocked by surfacing10,000points via the Indigo Route.
Another mount, introduced with Patch 6.4, is"Mossasaurus.
