Last weekend sawFinal Fantasy 14players and rampant fish enthusiasts unite in Eorzea to celebrate FishFest.
FishFest’s response was definitely more than we expected, Fruity tells me.
Folks were super excited about everything, and overall we’re considering it a huge success.

Everything went about as smoothly as we expected.
The impressive turnout proved that the time and effort that went into planning the festival was well worth it.
All the staff wore matching bright turquoise wetsuits, so you knew exactly who to go to for help.

It was way more hype than I expected and I loved it.
Given the number of players crowding the aquarium, each event’s turnout was unsurprisingly large.
On the Sunday, the Fishing train was even busier, reaching 90 players!

I spent much of the weekend soaking up the vibes of FishFest and exploring different venues.
I recommend checking both of them out if you could find the time.
Even their Cytube was suitably shark-themed for the occasion.
The troupe went all out in their performances, every number having incredible attention to detail.
you could catch up on theiramazing FishFest numbers on YouTube.
We’re discussing an EU-only event, and the one year anniversary event for the Aquarium in May.
EMN’s first internet-wide event has been decided, we’re just settling on dates and such for it.
Beyond that, I want to thank everyone again for their energy and support of FishFest 2023.
