Fantasian Neo Dimension looks set to be a challenge, especially for those of us entirely new to it.
And the first you should attempt to get is Zinikr, off in the Frozen Tundra.
This icy passage is packed with deadly enemies, but a whole bunch of helpful loot to boot.
There are two snowy areas like this in Fantasian, the Frozen Tundra and Falcion Bypath.
The former that we’re looking for is thankfully easier to reach, and isdirectly north of En.
Directly north after entering the second area past the small pond.
Large Agate
Travel east from the previous Whetstone, and then south to reach an isolated chest.
Sunstone
Immediately after entering the area with the lake, go east behind the hill to find a chest.
Speed Mastery Codex
Directly west of the entrance to the lake area.
Sapphire L
Travel to the north-east corner of the lake to find this hidden behind some trees.
In a chest on the eastern ice platforms in the lake.
SP Capsule
In the north-west corner of the lake by some bushes.
Not only is there a lot of items here, many of them are quite useful.
Prioritise these, as we’ll be using Quick All in the fight ahead.
There are alsoplenty of Whetstonesto be found.
These are used to upgrade your weapons back at the Secret Base.
Keep in mind that only weapons with yellow titles can be upgraded.
Defeating Entrapped Zinikr
Party Set-Up
Battling Entrapped Zinikr requires a wide range of elemental attacks.
These includeFire, Ice, Lightning, and Earth.
Holy and Darkness are useless in this fight.
Zinikir himself is the only character who natively has Earth attacks, which adds a small wrinkle.
For this fight,we had already rescued Ez, who proved a massive help here.
Prickle’s Divine Artefact is unlocked afterdefending the Secret baseafter saving multiple robots.
With this prep complete, then you should be able to manage Zinikr handily.
Battling The Boss
aWhat makes the Zinikr battle so unique is the comet that accompanies him.
Any attack that hits it is nullified completely.
As such, you’ll want to avoid hitting it.
Zinikr doesn’t actually have all that many moves.
He uses either asingle or group version of an elemental spell, and attacks with the comet.
The challenge is trying to beat himbefore his comet becomes a bigger issue.
After a few turns, Zinikr will raise his comet into the air before launching it at the party.
During this period, the party is free to attack him asthe comet no longer shields him.
After it strikes, it will splinter.
This debris now orbits him,making it even harder to hit him.
So how do you beat him faster?
Sadly, it’smostly up to chance.
For the majority of elements, this isn’t an issue.
Leo’sElemental Samidarecan counter Ice and Earth affinity, and Valrika can counter Fire with herIce skill.
Ez is the only one who can deal significant damage during the Lightning elemental affinity.
SinceEz’s damage is cappedthis way, you simply have to hope he doesn’t change to Lightning.
The only way to get Zinikr to change element is tostrike him with its weakness multiple times.
The comet is the only move to look out for.
As such, you should be striking him with your most powerful moves at all time.
It will be immediately destroyed, but it will absorb the brunt of the damage.
Rinse and repeat until he’s defeated.
With Zinikr freed, he rejoins the party and even gets his Divine Artefact.
You canfinally deal Earth damageagain!
