There are a total of116 ringsfound throughout the entirety ofDark Souls 3, spanning from the base experience, then heading on into the New Game Plus territories and additive DLC expansions.
The player is allowed to wear only four rings at any given moment and cannot wear two of the same ring at the same time.
While most can be discovered on corpses or in chests in the world, some require either theranking processes in Covenantsor quest-related occurrences to be maintained.
Even others are simply gifted to the player via random NPCs for completing a specific task, so be cautious about how you interact with the world on your first run if you are attempting to acquire all rings.
Once they are all collected, including each Ring of Sacrifice, you will have earned the Master of Rings trophy/achievement and have proven yourself worthy of the title Lord of the Rings at least in the context of Dark Souls 3.
