Resources have changed inCivilization 7.
They’re now separated into different categories and these change between Ages.
You’ll also need to manage your resources via the Resource Management screen.
But it will prove divisive.
City Resources
City Resources can only be placed inside city slots in the resource management screen.
Bonus Resources
Bonus Resources can be placed in any town or city slot.
Some other City and Bonus resources are also added in this age.
Modern Age Resources
The Modern Age introduces Factory Resources.
These can only be slotted inside a Factory slot within a city or town.
Many of the existing resourcesalso change in the Modern Age.
These are constructed by researching theIndustrializationtech.
Once you’ve done this, you’ll need to build a factory.
Resources
Camels will increase your resource slots in the city if you slot them in.
When trading, check to see which Independent Powers and AI settlementshave Camels as an available resource.
This should be your number one priority while trading, as more slots mean more bonuses.
you could also upgrade your resource capacity in cities by +1 by researchingCommerceand slotting theCommoditiespolicy.
