Some parts of the game are set in 1995, while other sequences take place in 2022.
You switch back on four during the adventure.
In both the past and present, you’re following the same group of girls/women.
The present-day scenes revolve around a secret the group has kept for many years.
You play as a courier who travels across the world to make important deliveries.
As this is a game made by Hideo Kojima, the story is deep and complex.
Rulers and their lands arent the only thing the games story is about, though.
The title also tells a deeply personal tale about Henry.
The tale told in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is a perfect example of that.
Yes, there is a political message in the narrative, but the adventure is still fairly light-hearted.

Metaphor: ReFantazio isnt set in an ordinary world.
Dont worry, though, as a tournament is starting to crown a new ruler.
This is enough of a reason to set out on a wild adventure.
Plus, each of your followers has captivating stories to tell, too.
Throughout all of this, the game does a good job of tackling serious issues like racism and discrimination.
It certainly does it better than many other games.
That said, the Pixel Remastered versions of the early games have landed on the system.
It stars a Jedi called Cal Kestis.
In classic Star Wars fashion, he is having issues with the Galactic Empire.
He doesn’t have the strength or enough allies to bring down the dominant organization.
But there are people he’d like to protect.
This means exploring a few different planets.
Grand Theft Auto 5
Grand Theft Auto 5 was originally released on the Xbox 360.
However, it was then brought out on the Xbox One and later on the Xbox Series X|S.
Part of the reason why the title is so good is the story.
Xbox Game Pass has an excellent set of open-world games.
Yet, each of them is a criminal trying to make money.
Its a well-written tale that is deeper than it initially seems it will be.
He wants to do so to free his own people.
This creates an interesting dynamic between the two protagonists that remains fascinating during the entire story.
She is an extraordinary woman being hunted by a deadly species called The Wild Hunt.
The tale is captivating and contains plenty of emotional and memorable moments.
What’s more, you get some say in how it all unfolds.
After all, the game has many impactful choices that alter the main tale, particularly the ending.
The Complete Editions contains the two story DLCs that have good narratives in their own right.
Yet, as you start to get into the story, the stakes begin to get more significant.
So, what starts as a fairly standard narrative becomes much more enjoyable.
It isnt just the main narrative that features strong storytelling, either.
Plenty of side quests in the game tell fascinating tales, too.
Lost Judgment
In Lost Judgement, you play as a private detective named Yagami.
He is sent to the city of Yokohama to help his friends on a case.
It all turns into one big compelling mystery filled with plenty of twists and turns.
All of them are stealth games that showcase wonderful storytelling.
This is particularly true for the MGS titles, as they also contain long and compelling cutscenes.
The writing and voice acting are generally exceptional and help create some really powerful moments.
It contains innovative puzzles, clever game mechanics, and a surprisingly deep narrative.
The story revolves around a married couple on the verge of divorce.
Their young daughter recognizes this, and it breaks her heart.
So, she makes two dolls of them to fantasize about them being happy together once again.
In the process, the parents are magically transformed into the toys.
At this point, their goal becomes transforming back into humans.

You know, average high school extracurricular activities.
And despite this mountain of phenomenal games that were released during this year, there was one clear winner.
Alan Wake 2 unashamedly leans into the narrative aspects that make a Remedy Entertainment game a Remedy Entertainment game.
In a game about writing, it’s only natural that we would find several memorable quotes.
These are the words that stayed with us the most.
That mix of live-action film with a horror video game is undeniably their signature genre.
And Alan Wake 2’s narrative is just unafraid to leave you boiling in mystery.
Oh, and have we mentioned there’s a musical number in the game?
It’s a narrative experience everyone should try at least once.
Soma
Originally made for PC, Soma’s move to consoles is a narrative gift to gamers.
Evenif horror isn’t really your thing, I’d still strongly recommend this game for its narrative.
True Colors is no different in that regard.
It starts out as a pretty wholesome reunion for the two siblings.
This immediately allows the game to stand out among other narrative adventures.
The tale revolves around the lives of two families who meet in the Arizona desert in 1998.
However, the tale slowly reveals that they’re more than their archetypes suggest.
The mystery in this one revolves around actress Marissa Marcel.
She starred in three movies from 1968 to 1999, but none of them were ever released.
Plus, Marissa is currently missing.
He soon learns that Arakawa had betrayed the Tojo Clan, to which it was a subsidiary.
This just shows you the greatness of The Forgotten City, as it started as a Skyrim mod.
However, the story is still about humanity and laws.
What the quote means is that any time somebody sins, everyone is turned into gold.
This is an important aspect of the adventure.
This is amust-playacross all platforms, not just Xbox.
From his early days at LucasArts, Tim Shafer had proven himself to be a master storyteller.
Even more surprising, though, was its story, which was fun and also heartfelt.
There are numerous aspects of Pentiment that break the mold of traditional gaming experiences.
Until one day, said baron is murdered, with a friend of yours being accused of the crime.
