Assassin's Creed Shadows is proving to be a hit right out of the gate, already surpassing two million players and topping the charts on Steam.

This is on top ofAssassin’s Creed Shadows topping the Steam charts, currently only beaten byCounter-Strike 2.

However, it doesn’t appear to have hurt its performance too much.

As for the critical reception,this was mostly positive too.
