Assassins Creedhas a special place in my heart.

But as much as I complain aboutUbisofts weird practices (NFTsandAIgalore!

), Ive been waiting for Assassins Creed to hook me again even hoping, against my better instincts.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Preview

More Assassins Creed isnt a compelling prospect when itsthisversion of Assassins Creed.

After four hours with Ubisoft’s open world epic I remain cautiously optimistic.

Shadows is trying to deal with this.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows protagonists Naoe and Yasuke facing each other.

Naoe is nimble and stealthy, traversing the landscape with ease and hiding easily in the shadows.

By all accounts, Naoe plays like a classic AC character.

Shes also much easier to kill than Yasuke.

It gives you an Immersive Mode that defaults to a Japanese voice track with historically accurate Portuguese.

Thats important as Yasuke is enslaved by Portuguese captors.

The name of the game is choice, something that Shadows seems to be incredibly focused on.

You know what they say if you play both sides, you always come out on top.

Ubisoft’s open-world game needs to be really good.

According to previews,Shadows does quite a lot in improving its worldbuilding.
