Ive played them all and have accrued many collectors edition statues over the years.
Its with love in my heart that I say the games have always kinda sucked.
But lets not pretend Desmond Miles was really that great or the modern-day narrative was anything special.
Assassins Creed fell off after Desmond was gone - my guy, it was never clinging on that tightly.

Its a goofy series, always has been.
It might not be great, but it didnt fall from much higher.

The Series Is Good.
But Its Always Been Bad.
Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla: those are games I enjoyed immensely, amidst the complaints.
Dont shout, dont convince yourself things were different, and dont be racist.
Just move on, and do whatever else.
Im not defending a bad game when its bad.
Im not defending Ubisoft - believe me.
Im not telling you to enjoy it.
You dont have to like that, or pretend you ever did.
