By today’s standards of horror video games, this wasn’t anything too scary.
In fact, gameplay of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre looks anything but scary.
Still, this was new at the time and caused controversy.
Now, you’re able to find this Atari cartridge selling for a few hundred dollars.
We found a cartridge-only listing for $399.99, and an autographed version going for a whopping $3,500.
4Resident Evil: Gaiden
Resident Evil: Gaidenisn’t your typical Resident Evil game.
So, how does it fit into the rest of Resident Evil?
Well, it doesn’t.
Resident Evil: Gaiden is not canon to the story, and seems to exist on its own.
You’ll need a strong stomach to play these gruesome games.

As mentioned earlier, Clock Tower and Haunting Ground go hand-in-hand.
Within the Clock Tower franchise, the first one tends to be the most expensive.

Clock Tower came out during a time when worldwide releases weren’t common.

Kuon is yet another pricey horror game originally for the PS2.
This time, the horror takes place in a Japanese manor in the Heian period.
Interstingly, Kuon was also developed by FromSoftware, who make iconic games like Elden Ring and Dark Souls.
Copies of Kuon are incredibly expensive, with most being around $1,000.
