Of course, expletives aren’t in every game.

A lot of the time this is a good thing as it often fits the story and characters.

Some titles push the accepted boundaries, though.

But in reality, that creature is hungover, and the adventure is filled with questionable characters.

Throughout the game, these individuals spout plenty of curse words and make a bunch of sexual references.

Conker, to his credit, doesn’t deliver as much profanity as the creatures he meets.

Yet, he’s still not the most child-friendly animal.

And that controversy comes from various aspects of the games.

Grand Theft Auto 5, in particular, includes plenty of profanity.

In fact, some ofthe best quotes in the titleinclude a few expletives.

But there is a lot of swearing in this title.

The secondMafiatitle takes it to the extreme, however, especially when it comes to the f-word.

Many of them are delivered by playable character Vito Scaletta and his best buddy Joe Barbaro.

They use the word in cut-scenes, car rides, and even while shooting people.

With the messed-up situations they find themselves in, their use of the word is often appropriate.

The protagonist Richard Marcinko is based on a real former Navy Seal.

And in the game, he rarely, if ever, delivers a sentence that doesn’t include profanity.

It feels so forced and inorganic that it’s actually hilarious.

What makes it even better is that the voice actor is the Academy Award nominee, Mickey Rourke.

Of course, nobody has counted the number of curse words in every single game.

The excessive use of swear words shouldn’t come as much of a surprise considering the subject matter.
