The original Super Mario Maker was a long-time coming for Nintendo.
This made for less of a user-friendly experience.
Since the Nintendo Switch is multiplayer-focused, Payday 2 was a sure-fire hit, right?
Unfortunately, in this case, the Switch is more focused on local multiplayer.
While Payday 2 was never the prettiest game, the Switch made it look somehow worse.
Splatoon 2 and Arms required a convoluted smartphone app for voice chat with friends.
However, WWE games have stayed relatively quiet on Nintendo consoles.
They would receive a watered Smackdown Vs. WWE 2K18 simply couldnt function on the console.
But by some miracle, Nintendo allowed these ports to materialize.
Both Doom and Wolfenstein 2 had to undergo relatively heavy graphical downgrades to work with the Switch hardware.
However, no one expected that it would look as bad as it did.
4Pokemon Sword & Shield
Everyone knows the immense success that Pokemon had garnered over the years.
Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu/Eevee certainly scratched the itch, but players wanted a brand newnext-gen Pokemon experience.
Pokemon Sword & Shield was Game Freaks answer to this request.
Unfortunately, Doom Eternal for the Switch was pushed back nearly a year after the other versions.
Much like Doom (2016), the Switch port performed well but was heavily graphically downgraded.
The game was already huge at launch and then DLC expanded it to nearly double its original size.
Nintendo Switch owners were hoping for a port, but most never thought it was possible.
Ultimately, that proved to not be the case.
The frame rate was also known to take dips in more populated areas.
The good news is that it kind of did come to the system.
The bad news is that Control can only be played through cloud gaming.
Streaming the game comes with many huge concerns.
Even with a stable internet connection, input lag is still an issue.
