What is less debatable is whether or not Geralt looks ridiculous fighting enemies using a decrepit gardening tool.
This isn’t a criticism, we really dig this weapon.
Also, it is important to note that “branch” is underselling it.
This weapon is as large as the soldier holding it.
It also packs a wallop.
So, not onlycanyou wield a giant branch as a bludgeon in Fire Emblem Fates, but youshouldwield one.
6Final Fantasy 7, Nail Bat
Final Fantasy 7has a number of pretty funny joke weapons.
However, the most iconic one has to be the Nail Bat.
What really makes these goofy weapons great is how they contrast with Akihiko’s very serious personality.
It is a crime that these were not included as an alternative costume piece in the Arena fighting games.
We don’t want glasses DLC, Atlus, give us the gloves!
Thankfully, this legendary tool of discipline can, in fact, be obtained as a usable weapon.
It isn’t a bad weapon, either.
This big boy hits for beefy damage.
If you are looking for a new hammer, you could absolutely do much worse.
However, Shadow Hearts 2 adds some pretty excellent embellishments.
That isn’t made up.

Final Fantasy 14exists in a unique state for joke weapons.
Just take your best knuckle weapon and apply the Kettle Knucklesas a glamor.
This means that you might play the majority of the game fighting enemies while clasping onto two kettles.
They even glow red hot when you get amped up.
